Hannah Morel is an American artist of Dominican heritage, currently based in Melbourne. Her work engages with environmental and social practice, utilizing discursive methods of engagement. Having graduated from Whitman College in 2020 with a degree in Art and Environment, Hannah is now exploring site specific, public practice through RMIT University’s Masters of Art in Public Space. Her mediums of interest involve metal and wood work, recycled and organic materials and performance, through various critical, adaptive processes. Utilizing collaborative methods of engagement with site and both human and non-human species, her work aims to facilitate accessible public discourse on art accessibility and public pedagogy.
