Jack Grant is a practicing designer and current PhD student at UNSW Art & Design. His research analyses the use of design practice in drawing attention and providing support to experiences of hardship in Australia, such as poverty and homelessness. His current research explores the ethics of participatory design approaches within fields of social design, such as design activism, by engaging in collaborative design work with individuals involved in informal labour practices.
